✅ Exit RowsExtra legroom (4–6 inches more). Great for tall passengers. Trade-off: seats don't recline, no under-seat storage, fixed armrests.
✅ Bulkhead RowsExtra knee space at the front of a cabin. IFE screen & tray table in armrest. Often bassinet rows — can mean families nearby.
⚠️ Galleys & LavsRows directly in front of or behind galleys/lavatories get more foot traffic, smells, and light. Avoid last row of each cabin.
⚠️ Last RowOften non-reclining (wall behind). Can be next to lavatory. Noisy. Good if you don't mind — boarding lines form nearby though.
💡 Window AlignmentOn 737-800, rows 8-10 often have misaligned windows. On 787, all windows are larger. Check SeatGuru photos for your specific row.
💡 Long-haul Config787/A350 in 3-3-3 eco has decent pitch (~32–34"). A330 in 2-4-2 means middle section has 4 seats — avoid D/E/F/G on center block.
🚫 Seat Fee Trap"Choice" seats near the front are often just regular seats with an upcharge. Only pay if it's genuinely exit row, bulkhead, or has measurably better pitch.
🚫 Middle Seat 777The 777-300ER in 3-4-3 config means the center block has 4 seats. Avoid seats E, F (inner-center) at all costs on long hauls.
